Frances Sedayao
A solo performance piece by Oakland dance artist Frances Sedayao, a longtime Bay Area performer and Joe Goode Performance Group collaborator, set to a sequence of short tracks by Ben Juodvalkis ranging from an echoing synth with voice to blues, whistling, funk guitar and house, with Frances speaking text over parts of the score. Frances described the 2025 version as one iteration of a piece she hoped to keep developing.
