Krista DeNio (Moving Ground)

An ensemble-devised dance-theater work about systems of communication and confinement in the human and plant worlds. It draws on research and on interviews with formerly incarcerated people, honoring human resilience in the face of systemic oppression and imprisonment.

Krista later developed NETWORK into an ongoing Moving Ground project (site-specific performances, workshops, think tanks), including a premiere at Djerassi Resident Artists Program; Ben's involvement beyond BDP 2017 is unconfirmed. | [W282] BDP 2017 ran April 20-29, 2017 (one Thursday performance was cancelled for safety).
