In January 2020 Alexandra Nikolchev asked Ben to score short documentary films about American non-voters that she was directing for Show of Force as part of the Knight Foundation's 100 Million Project, including Arizona and West Virginia pieces and a New York piece set on the 7 train. Ben sent sketches for Arizona and two hip-hop sketches for New York, but the executive producer chose another composer.
