When the Landscape Falls Away

KT Nelson (curator and choreographer; RoundAntennae), with eight emerging choreographers

A 60-minute site-specific program at the Berkeley Art Museum curated by KT Nelson, with dances inspired by the avian world by nine choreographers: scenes by eight younger Bay Area choreographers she mentored through RoundAntennae, plus a new trio of her own. Ben created the sound design and music linking the scenes (including a 'forest' scene).

Performances
Two performances on July 2, 2023 (1 pm and 4 pm), included with museum admission. A feedback showing was held June 25, 2023 at Wildcat Studios, with museum rehearsals the week of June 26.
