Archive folder: Who Lights the Sun
Keelan Whitmore
A work by Keelan Whitmore for Open Space Dance Company, built on the archetype of 'The Hero' from ancient mythologies, spiritual traditions and literary histories. Whitmore describes it as a reflection of past, present and future about crossing a threshold into uncertainty, 'relentlessly physical, with nods to the plurality of the human experience.' It premiered in 2022 and was restaged by Open Space in Portland in 2025.
